My name is Leigh Parsons and I am a 34 year old former Royal
Marines Commando. I decided to start Pack Dog Walks as it
combines two of my greatest passions - dogs and the great outdoors!
I always knew I did not want to do something ordinary with my life!
After leaving school at the age of 16, I promptly enrolled on a Public
Services course at what was then Gloscat, and on completion of the
course joined Her Majesty's Royal Marines.
I spent eight years as a Royal Marine before deciding to move into
the Private Security Industry. I then decided to pursue yet another
interest of mine and enrolled at Hartpury College to study agriculture. My long term aim is to have my own farm and be surrounded by livestock and my large pack of dogs!
I have been walking with dogs since I was young and truly enjoy the company of these wonderful creatures. I have walked with dogs from all around the world, be it 'Spike' the Boxer charging across Studland Bay, 'Boots' the Jack Russell speeding across the Quantocks, or 'Blondy' the Himalayan mountain dog walking up the Annapurna trail in Nepal.
The routes I take are very familiar to me as I have walked them from the age of 12 years old to the present day. With my background in the Royal Marines I have endured the worst of both weather and terrains so you can be assured that your dog(s) will be in the very safest of hands.
